Sonoma Valley

I drove up along Highway 101 through Sonoma Valley before heading over the ridge into Calistoga in Napa Valley. Along the way I stopped in at Kunde Family Estate for a wine tasting. One of the staff very kindly gave me a tour of their caves which were dug out from the hill next to the wine tasting building. Sans a moment of unexpected claustrophobia, it was a great time. A few days later I passed back through the valley on my way back from a loop up from San Francisco along the California coast on Highway 1.
